General Introduction
By booking an expedition with New Dreamers Tours, the customer accepts the terms and conditions detailed here. We are committed to providing a safe and transformative adventure experience in the highlands of Guatemala.
These terms constitute a binding contract between the participant and New Dreamers Tours. We recommend reading each point carefully before proceeding with payment for your booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 15 days before the start date.
Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the expedition.
Cancellations less than 7 days before or during the tour.
Date Change Policy
Standard Flexibility
One (1) date change is allowed at no extra charge if requested at least 10 days in advance, subject to availability on the newly chosen date.
Late Change Fees
Changes requested between 3 and 9 days before the expedition will incur an administrative fee of 15% of the total booking value.
No-Shows and Delays
Punctuality is critical to the success of our expeditions. Our guides will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the agreed meeting time.
- Failure to show up at the meeting point (No-Show) results in the total loss of the deposit.
- No refunds will be given for personal delays that prevent catching up with the group.
Customer Responsibilities
Health and Physical Condition
The customer declares to be in optimal condition for the physical effort the mountain requires. It is mandatory to disclose allergies, asthma, or prior heart conditions.
Personal Equipment
It is the customer's responsibility to bring suitable footwear and technical clothing as suggested in the preparation guide. The guide reserves the right to deny participation if the equipment is insufficient.
Force Majeure and Weather
Given the nature of our routes (especially on active volcanoes like Acatenango and Fuego), safety is our absolute priority.
"In the event of CONRED alerts or extreme weather conditions:"
- New Dreamers Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify the route for safety reasons.
- A free date change or credit for future expeditions will be offered.
- If the expedition has already begun and must be interrupted due to external causes, a partial refund proportional to unused services will be evaluated.
